PCR TESTING IN THE HOTEL
The hotel offers guests PCR and antigen tests for
COVID-19, as well as antibody testing. Test results
can be translated into English. To make an appointment and for more information on prices, please contact the reception in advance by dialing 9.

INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS

Please disinfect your hands at each entrance to the restaurant, bar, health club, elevator and business centre premises with the disinfectants placed around the hotel for this purpose.
Toilets in public areas are equipped with soaps containing disinfectants and disposable towels and disinfectants for thorough hand washing. Baby changing equipment is located in the women's toilet on level -1 and is regularly disinfected.
PUBLIC SPACES AND SURFACES
All public spaces and contact surfaces are thoroughly and frequently disinfected during the day and night.
RECEPTION AND CONCIERGE
A plexiglass partition has been installed to ensure the protection of staff and guests. The reception staff regularly disinfects their hands, tables, partitions, handrails, and other contact surfaces.
ISOLATION/QUARANTINE - IMPORTANT!
In the case of a guest deciding to spend the isolation period in the Hotel Esplanade, here is some basic information:
If the PCR test result of the guest (or their partner/family member) is positive for COVID-19 during the stay at the hotel, isolation is mandatory for all who are staying in the same accommodation unit.
According to the instructions of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, every such case shall be automatically reported to the epidemiological service of the city of Zagreb. It is not possible to egress the room for ten days after the diagnosis. Hotel staff is not allowed to enter the room and will communicate only by phone.
Each guest shall maintain the cleanliness of the room/premises of their stay with the means provided by the hotel and deposited in front of the room. Meals are ordered by phone through Room Service, which will deliver food and drinks in front of the room and will charge for the service according to the regular price list. The hotel will provide the guest with hygiene bags which the guest can use daily for dirty towels and bed linen, and the staff will deliver clean towels and bed linen to the guest in front of the room. In case of additional necessities or required medical assistance, it is necessary to contact the reception staff by dialling 9 The hotel is obliged to provide guests in isolation with protective masks, disinfectants, and gloves.
While in isolation, the guest stays at the hotel at his or her own expense. The guest shall cover all additional costs and services (food, drinks, laundry, parking, and any other services) used during the entire period of stay. The hotel will strive to meet any additional needs of the guest. It is possible to arrange a special price for accommodation, food and beverages, and laundry during a longer stay in isolation.

We suggest that the elevator be used together by family members or guests who share the same accommodation unit. Please disinfect your hands when entering and exiting the elevator.
CLEANING OF ROOMS AND SUITES
After each guest’s stay, rooms undergo a strict process of thorough cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation.
Food & Beverage staff respect the highest hygiene standards and recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health

THERMOMETER AND MASKS
Basic medical equipment and a thermometer are available at the hotel Reception

The business centre is located in the hotel lobby. Feel free to use a computer and printer. After each guest, the computer and all touchable surfaces are thoroughly disinfected, which is confirmed by a card with the inscription Disinfected. There is hand sanitizer inside the area, so please disinfect your hands before using the equipment.

We’ll be happy to exchange your money at the Reception Desk with a commission of 3%. You can also find exchange offices at the shopping centre next to the hotel. An ATM is located in the hotel lobby. Before and after use, please use hand sanitizer.
